Full time temporary, position available on or after February 25, 2019 and ending on or before February 24, 2020 in the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Under the general supervision of the Associate Vice President for Holistic Student Support, Organizational Operations, and Strategic Initiatives, the Dreamers Project Coordinator provides coordination, oversight, planning and program implementation to create a safe space to support educational access and success of undocumented students at Stanislaus State, while leading campus educational programs and services specific to the experience of undocumented students and their families. In coordination with campus partners, the incumbent provides academic and personal guidance to undocumented students and serve as a resource to undocumented students families. The Dreamers Project Coordinator further collaborates with campus partners on retention and student success initiatives, including but limited to campus orientation and the development and implementation of high impact practices that assist undocumented students in persisting to graduation. The Dreamers Project Coordinator will also work closely with community partners to provided resources to undocumented students families to create a network of support.
