Job Purpose The Sales Planner is primarily responsible for the development of strategic sales proposals that meet both the advertiser and network?s needs. Duties and Responsibilities Proposal Creation: Liaison with Sports partners to ensure that all contractual obligations are met Coordinate with CFS group to establish credit clearance process and non-media billing procedures when applicable Lead in the creation of proposals for incoming RFPs by creating media plans to meet advertiser and category objectives Address client needs while highlighting the value and capabilities of the Sports networks Build media plans and schedule units based on inventory avails Prepare and revise Upfront and Scatter sales plans that maximize the use of inventory while fulfilling agency/client requirements Collaborate and brainstorm with the team in the creation of proactive and strategic proposals Ensure media plans include accurate pricing and utilize approved products and available inventory and adhere to defined business processes to ensure optimal program performance Complete additional projects as directed by Strategic Planning and Ad Sales Finance Management Assist in the coordination of sales marketing materials Proposal Maintenance: Work closely with Sales, Strategic Planning, and Commercial Ops to manage all preemptions and programming changes - recommend schedules according to availability, generate flow charts to reflect all changes, cancellation options and expansion options Work closely with Inventory Managers to coordinate plan approvals and successful deal execution Client Service: Develop strong understanding of our products and solutions for advertisers Assist in the creation of effective go to market tools for the sales team Establish relationships with agency and advertiser partners Respond to Sales requests about inventory, ad products, creative specifications, and research Liaise with Sales, Strategic Planning, Ad Sales Finance, Commercial Ops, and Marketing to ensure sold schedules run Eligibility Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree ? Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA ? Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States ? 12 to 18 months related experience in media sales or buying ? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research ? Strong knowledge of media math and audience metrics ? Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multi-task and handle projects independently, as well as part of a team ? Ambitious and highly motivated ?
