Job DescriptionMcGarrah Jessee seeks a temporary assistant media planner with up to a year of relevant experience for a four-month assignment that will start at the end of March.We are looking for someone to assist with the development and implementation of media plans for a full-service client, to help the team track all budgets and to collaborate with agency teams, clients and vendor partners every day to produce customized marketing solutions. This individual will work closely with the media planners, media supervisors and media director, as well as numerous other cross-functional team members.Responsibilities:Help create and maintain comprehensive media engagement plans based on multilevel client initiativesAssist in planning digital, TV/cable, radio, OOH, events and more as neededAssist in development and delivery of compelling client presentationsProvide and analyze industry and consumer research, including but not limited to target audience segmentations, effective media mix, category competitive analysis, etc.Help integrate all facets of the media landscape, including paid, owned and earnedKeep internal/external teams up to date on media trends, providing formal POVs as necessaryTrack campaign ROIUpdate and manage flowcharts on a consistent basisManage/track client approvalsHelp invoice, bill and reconcile media budgetsServe as a stellar brand/agency ambassador both internally and externallyHelp facilitate digital traffickingCreate and maintain records of insertion orders, schedules, contracts, etc., and work to meet vendor deadlinesTake clear ownership of assigned tasksRequirements:Bachelor s degreeUp to a year of relevant experience, which can be a combination of education, internship(s) and/or workAvailability to work the duration of this temp assignmentProficiency in all the necessary tools to get the job done (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, media resources/software, DCM, etc.)Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, even under pressure, and to deliver a high-quality work productCombination of problem solving, creativity and strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and media math proficiencyStrong written, oral and presentation skillsAttention to detailDigital experience a mustPlease do not call.
