Job Responsibility including but not limited to:
? Enters import document information according to information received from the
customs broker on a daily basis using internal H&M system
? Monitors receipt of commercial documents for each container
? Oversees timely filing of entries for customs clearance.
? Involved in daily E-Mail communication and follow-up with overseas offices
? Monitors deliveries of goods through Imports department procedures
? Releases unloaded containers in internal H&M system
? Monitors and tracks Imports of display material, shopping bags, totes, hangers etc
? Daily filing of internal documents into import files
? Researches import related topics and transport of containers through the internet
? Maintains close liaison among agents, brokers, steamship lines, truckers and
warehouse to ensure complete visibility of imports
? Creates and maintains detailed report from internal H&M system (IGR) to track
and update information on the container plan,

Minimum Candidate Qualifications:
? Requires a minimum of a high school diploma.
? Minimum of 6 months employment with H&M.
? Knowledge and understanding of shipping documents, broker invoices and freight
invoices helpful but not required.
? Detail oriented, with strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to company specific
? Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
? Ability to work as part of a team
