Your Responsibilities :
JOB PURPOSE :
Demand Planning Manager role exists to ....
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
Establish and embed the revised Demand Forecasting processes to support the new Supply Chain Operating model and Core Commercial Cycle.
Manage end to end demand forecasting (both volume and value) across all Consumer Healthcare categories to improve forecast accuracy and customer service levels in line with external benchmarks
Analyze base line for each channels and Quarterly review for each SKU. This have to be aligned with commercial team.
Define key roles and accountabilities across the business to align Sales / Marketing / Category and Finance functions. Develop one number mindset to drive business decision making and forecast transparency / functional accountability
Support Demand Forecasting input into the key Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) meetings including Demand Review / Supply review and regional S&OP meetings.
Ensure appropriate identification and understanding of demand forecast changes against short and long term horizons to support effective supply chain function. Provide key inputs to support E2E Supply Chain thinking and effective decision making
Identify demand forecasting risks and develop effective mitigation plans by working with commercial team to deliver sales in plan number driven by sales out and distributor inventory level.
Seamless handover of demand forecast and relevant market intelligence to supply planning hubs to facilitate optimal inventory levels to support the business
Integrate Trade Spend / Net Sales inputs to ensure forecast decisions prioritise cost effective, net sales delivery.
Work with Sales teams to identify cost effective deployment of trade spend promotional monies
Contribute to and lead significant projects to transform the operating model, and deliver the benefits required including gross to net, complexity reduction, cost of goods and working capital reductions etc
Support demand forecasting inputs for long range volume forecasts for Plan submission and Mid Year Review.
Coordinate cross functional teams to deliver sales gap closing opportunities as required.
Internal measurement and reporting of demand forecasting KPIs to drive improvements in forecast accuracy and bias, working capital and customer service
Others tasks as assigned by Customer Supply Chain Lead.
- Education: Bachelor degree/ Master degree
- Program experience: MS office / SAP APO
- Language: English communication skill writing, listening and speaking.
- Experience: 5-8 years experiences (Demand Planning & 2-3 experience in Supply Chain) with 2-3 years people management
Essential Skills and Abilities:
In depth knowledge of Logistics especially in inbound freight and planning activities.
Preferable to hold a tertiary qualification in a supply chain related discipline, logistics, supply management, demand management, operational management.
Ability to work with the LSPs to deliver continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Systems Knowledge, including SAP, APO and warehouse management systems.
Experience in operating within a GMP environment and understanding of EHS requirements.
Basic finance knowledge.
