Position Purpose & Summary

The Reliability Coordinator is responsible for being the liaison between maintenance and operations for identifying and correcting maintenance processes, assuring priority maintenance work is completed utilizing appropriate resources and in conjunction with production schedules, and ensuring work is done according to established safety standards.

*Relocationassistance and/or hiring incentives may be available for this position in thediscretion of the Company. Principle Accountabilities 40%Act as primary contact between production and maintenance to schedule required maintenance. Prioritize maintenance schedules ensuring Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) work is completed first. 25%Manage work to ensure budget and reliability obligations are met.Enter and approve work orders and maintenance requisitions; manage maintenance expense jobs (i.e. write and control work).Provide feedback and process improvement towork execution and reliability process interaction.

5%Coordinate use of outside contractors for the department.

20%Ensure all work is done according to established safety and food safety standards, train technicians in fundamentals of maintenance and reliability best practices.

10% Active member of Maintenance and Departmental Improvement teams. Any other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical discipline OR High School Diploma/GED and Minimum 4+ years production, operations or maintenance work related experience.
  • Minimum 1+ years production, operations or maintenance work related experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of precision maintenance techniques (alignment, shaft tolerances, etc.) and predictive technologies (Vibration Analysis, Infrared, Oil Analysis, Motor Circuit Analysis, etc.), and machinery alignment procedures.
  • Experience and execution in use of Cause Analysis tools (ie RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone etc).
  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • An ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Maintenance Reliability Profession (CMRP) certification.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) stores management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Process Safety Management including Process Hazard Analysis, Restricted area requirements and Fugitive Emissions Management Systems.
  • Experience in planning and scheduling.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.
  • Experience in cost control management.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
